Saturday 7. December 2019 at 09:30 - 18:00

Online ticket sales has ended.

This year, an estimated 3-4 billion mobile phones are used by humanity for everyday tasks. One in two persons on the planet is now partly dependent on their mobile device for running daily life. Tech usage is slowly taking over our daily chores and connections to the world, from kids to grownups. It is high time we start accepting the problem that mobile technology commands our attention in ways that are often unhealthy, and start doing something about it.

During Loomehäkk vol 8: Cyber Security and Digital Wellbeing, we will brainstorm and discuss in teams how to

  • Find a better balance between our digital and real worlds
  • Keep children safe from physical and mental hazards caused by smart devices
  • Carve out meaningful and effective routines to stay digitally sober day in, day out
  • Manage content bombardment targeted at us through smart devices
  • Mitigate cyber security risks we expose ourselves to through digital content consumption

PLEASE JOIN Loomehäkk vol 8: Cyber Security and Digital Wellbeing for a day-long hacking brainstorm on digital wellbeing to take back control of your digital life on December 7 @Mektory, Taltech! We will offer you industry insights by our event partners, experienced mentors, an inspiring team and prizes that help you take your idea further.
