Imagine a stand-up show and a variety show had a baby — and that baby was gay.

Not a stand-up night. Not a variety show. Something that was born when the two got together and couldn’t be put in a box much like the people making it and the people coming to watch it. Comedy Circus is the kind of night where you walk in not knowing what’s next and walk out not knowing how your face got this sore. Just like a lesbian this comedy show doesn’t sit right in the comedy chair 🤡 Two hours. Six performers. Surprise acts on some nights you won’t see coming. A break in the middle to breathe, drink, and recover. A monthly queer circus of stand-up, drag, improv, clowning, puppetry, storytelling, poetry and more. Because comedy isn’t only stand-up. It’s sit down, lie down, cry down, until everyone in the room is laughing out loud together. We will be back every month with the same purpose and a new lineup!

Life Coach by the day and comedian by the night, Ananya is an MBA dropout and a stand-up comedy drop-in from India. Now based in Berlin, he recently graduated therapy—only to undo its positive effects through stand-up. Known for his bold takes and sharp wit, Ananya blends life’s ironies with laugh-out-loud punchlines.

Levishka’s Head is not your average venue. Created by Löwa and Carol, non-binary lesbians and immigrants, it is a space built for dogs and queers, and it will always be political and anti-oppressive. Free from homophobia, racism, ableism, xenophobia, speciesism and all forms of discrimination, A home that was always going to end up with something like this happening inside it.
