Babaji's Kriya Yoga open lecture by Ingvar Villido Ishwarananda, ONLINE
28. October 2022, 19.30 (EET)

"Kriya Yoga has only one purpose: to give a human being his/her proper position in life, to learn how to lead your life yourself, and not to be led by life."

In the Introduction into Babaji's Kriya Yoga, acharya Ingvar Villido (Ishwarananda) will explain what is kriya yoga, and what is the role and significance of the ancient Yoga science in the 21st century.

The word kriya means ’acting with awareness’, i.e. acting in a way where each process is observed, directed, has a specific objective and follows this chosen objective.

Kriya Yoga is an ancient integral system of yoga science, which is practical, based on reality, and suits anyone living in today’s society, regardless of one’s profession, qualification, race or religion. Babaji's Kriya Yoga system includes, in total, 144 techniques or kriyas which are taught by the experienced master teacher (acharya) during three courses or initiations.

Ingvar Villido was given the permission to pass on Babaji's Kriya Yoga techniques in 2007 by Marshall Govindan, the keeper of this yoga lineage. With an initiation into kriya yoga acharya, Ingvar Villido was also given a spiritual name – Ishwarananda.

The lecture is free, with English translation.

The lecture is an introduction to Babaji's Kriya Yoga 1st initiation.
